The East Bay Meditation Center was founded to provide a welcoming environment for people of color, members of the LGBTQI community, people with disabilities, and other underrepresented communities, and has been a pioneer and leader in offering meditation training and spiritual teachings from Buddhist and other wisdom traditions, with attention to social action, multiculturalism, and diverse populations. Check out their amazing calendar!
The Mediation Coalition's regular classes include a BIPOC & Allies class, a Women and Whiteness Class, and a People of Color Sangha.
